Since 1989, Rush Order has handled the fulfillment, warehousing, and customer experience work that lets ecommerce, retail, and enterprise brands focus on building their business instead of running a warehouse. One partner, thirteen fulfillment centers, four continents.

Who We Are

A Privately Held 3PL Built for Brands That Outgrow Spreadsheets

Rush Order actually started life in the 1980s as a software company. By 1989, after picking up more and more order fulfillment and customer service work along the way, we'd become something different and took the name Rush Order to match. Back then, direct-to-consumer fulfillment meant paper order forms and mailed-in checks. We built our first ecommerce storefronts not long after, then plugged into Shopify and the other platforms as the industry caught up.

What hasn't changed is the combination that still sets us apart: order fulfillment and warehousing, real-time inventory and reporting technology, and outsourced customer experience (CX) all under one roof. Brands don't need to stitch together a fulfillment vendor, a software platform, and a support team separately. We're built to be all three, working as one.

That's why clients tend to describe us less like a vendor and more like an extension of their own team, the flexible, scalable back office standing behind their storefront, whether that storefront is Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Target, or all of the above at once.

Rush Order runs a couple hundred people here in the US, based mostly at our Gilroy, California headquarters, on the southern edge of the Bay Area. That team is a mix of warehouse operators, account managers who know every client by name, and a software development group that's bigger than you'd expect from a fulfillment company. Overseas, our teams in Canada, Europe, the UK, Asia, and Australia run the warehouses that make our global footprint possible.

We sit in a deliberate middle ground in the 3PL world. We're sized like a boutique, well past the smallest independent operators, but nowhere near the multi-billion-dollar enterprise players. That scale is intentional. It lets an account manager actually pick up the phone instead of routing you to a queue, and it keeps you a client instead of a ticket number.

OUR STORY

35+ YEARS OF FULFILLMENT, ONE ORDER AT A TIME

From a Gilroy warehouse serving early tech and consumer brands to a thirteen-location global network, here are the milestones that shaped the company clients work with today.

1980s – 1989

From Software Company to Rush Order

The company that became Rush Order actually started life in the 1980s as a software business. As it took on more order fulfillment and customer service work, that side of things grew into the main business — and by 1989, it had a new name to match: Rush Order.

1990s – 2000s

From Mail Order to Ecommerce

Direct-to-consumer fulfillment looked nothing like it does today: customers mailed in order forms and checks, and Rush Order deposited the payments and shipped the orders out the door. As ecommerce emerged, Rush Order built some of its earliest client storefronts from scratch, then began integrating with platforms like Shopify as they became the industry standard.

2010s

Adding Customer Experience Under the Same Roof

As ecommerce accelerated, Rush Order expanded from a fulfillment-only model into an integrated fulfillment-plus-CX partner, giving brands a single point of contact for both the shipment and the customer conversation around it.

2015 – 2020

Building a Global Network

Rush Order extends its physical footprint beyond North America into Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and across Asia — laying the groundwork for what is now a 13-location fulfillment network spanning four continents.

2020

Proof Under Pressure

When the pandemic hit, mask brand Vogmask saw daily order volume spike 900% almost overnight. Rush Order's fulfillment and CX teams scaled together in real time, keeping both shipping speed and support quality intact through the surge.

Recent

Expanding U.S. Coverage, Earning Recognition

Rush Order opens a Texas fulfillment center to shorten transit times across the southern and central United States, and is named among the Best 3PLs in Australia by independent directory Fulfill.com in 2026.

Today

13 Fulfillment Centers, 150+ Brands, One Standard

Rush Order now operates fulfillment centers across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia — supporting more than 150 brands, from pre-revenue startups to companies that have scaled through acquisition, all held to the same 99.99% accuracy standard.

What Rush Order Clients Are Saying

How We Work With You

Two Ways to Work With Us

Every client gets matched to the team that fits how their business actually runs.

Express

Built for High-Growth D2C Brands

You get a named account team in the US backed by our customer support group, focused on the day-to-day: rerouting shipments, catching exceptions, keeping orders moving. You're never dropped into a general support queue, the people helping you know your account by name.

Enterprise

Built for Complex, Global Operations

For brands running multi-channel, multi-geography operations, often shipping from three, four, even seven of our warehouses worldwide. You get an account manager fluent in the complex stuff; new sales channel launches, IT integrations, refurbishment, firmware flashing, kitting with strategy that plays out in quarterly business reviews.

Plenty of brands start in Express and graduate into Enterprise as they grow, the account team just grows with them.

Our Mission

Be the Flexible, Accurate Back Office Every Growing Brand Wishes It Had

Rush Order's mission is simple: remove fulfillment, warehousing, and customer support as bottlenecks to growth. Whether a brand ships ten orders a day or ten thousand, the standard doesn't change — accurate, on-time, and invisible in the best way, so our clients can focus on their product instead of their pick list.

✓ 99.99% order accuracy and 99.9% on-time fulfillment, every day
✓ Scales from a garage startup to thousands of daily orders without service gaps
✓ One partner for fulfillment, warehousing, and customer experience
✓ 13 fulfillment centers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia
✓ Real-time inventory visibility — no spreadsheets, no guesswork
✓ No-pressure, no-obligation onboarding: we earn the relationship first

Big & small brands alike, we support your growth

Our Core Values

The Standards Behind Every Order We Ship

These are the operating principles clients experience in practice, in every integration, every peak season, and every support ticket.

ACCURACY FIRST

We Don't Make Mistakes

Barcode verification at multiple checkpoints keeps order accuracy at 99.99%. Fewer wrong-item complaints for your customers, fewer support tickets for you.

ROOM TO GROW

Scale Without the Growing Pains

When order volume jumps from ten a day to a thousand, we scale storage and processing capacity to match, no scramble for space, no temp-staffing gaps.

GLOBAL, BUT LOCAL

Inventory Closer to Your Customer

Thirteen fulfillment centers across four continents mean shorter shipping zones, faster transit, and lower international shipping costs for your customers.

PARTNER, NOT VENDOR

An Extension of Your Team

Clients get a named account team, not a ticket queue. We treat every exception, every return, and every peak-season spike as our problem to solve, too.

Who We're a Fit For

We're Honest About Fit Even When It Costs Us the Deal

We'd rather turn away a mismatch than sign a client we can't serve well. Here's how we think about it, upfront.

Good fit

You're high-growth, and things are a little complicated

  • ✓ Your product needs kitting, firmware flashing, or refurbishment before it ships.
  • ✓ Your sales channel is more than one thing — say, a B2B brand fulfilling direct to a patient's or employee's door.
  • ✓ You're shipping across multiple US regions, or you need a genuinely global footprint.
  • ✓ You're an established brand doing something new for the first time — like a software company launching its first piece of hardware.
Probably not a fit

Your product is simple, and that's a good thing

  • – Low-margin, low-complexity product shipping through one simple channel — plenty of 3PLs handle this well, often for less than we'd charge.
  • – Hanging apparel — we're just not set up for it.
  • – Regulated pharmaceuticals.
  • – Oversized or bulky automotive parts.

We'll tell you this upfront, before you waste time on a call that isn't going anywhere.

How We're Structured

📦

Ecommerce & D2C Fulfillment

Pick, pack, and ship for Shopify, WooCommerce, and direct-to-consumer stores, with same-day processing on orders received before cutoff.

🛒

Amazon & Marketplace Fulfillment

FBA prep to Amazon's exact specifications, Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP), and multi-marketplace order routing.

🏢

B2B & Retail Fulfillment

Retailer EDI connections and compliant big-box shipments for brands landing on shelves at retailers like Target.

↩️

Inspection, restocking, and automated refunds — plus return-pattern reporting that has helped clients catch recurring product issues.

🧩

Kitting & Value-Added Assembly

Everything from simple product bundles and handwritten inserts to complex, tested multi-part electronic assemblies.

🎧

Outsourced Customer Experience

Email, chat, and phone support delivered by a named CX team — brands using it see higher CSAT and fewer inbound tickets.

Most brands start with one need, usually ecommerce fulfillment, and expand into others as they grow. Rush Order builds every service line to work together from day one.

The Right Fulfillment for Every Product You Sell

Different products need different handling. Our warehouse teams and systems are built around the specific compliance, packaging, and storage needs of each category below.

Facility Standards

01 · CERTIFIED

Every Rush Order facility is monitored around the clock, with access controls and regular security patrols protecting client inventory at all times.

03 · VERIFICATION

Barcode-Checked Pick & Pack

Temperature- and humidity-sensitive products stay within client-specified ranges, with sensors placed throughout the warehouse and near real-time visibility — including alerts if conditions ever drift out of range.

Cycle-Counted Inventory

Regular cycle counts and "golden zone" placement for fast-moving SKUs keep what's in the system matched to what's on the shelf.

Come See for Yourself

The Best Way to Know If We're the Right Fit? Come Walk the Floor.

We could tell you about our accuracy rate all day, but the honest truth is that the fastest way to know if a 3PL is right for you is to see it in person. Walk the warehouse floor. Meet the account team you'd actually be working with. Watch how an order gets picked, packed, and verified in real time.

Most of the brands who choose Rush Order visit us first and we'll never pressure you into signing before you're ready to. If you're evaluating fulfillment partners, our door (and our warehouse floor) is open.
